Central Illinois | After a couple of weeks finding out how to put the pieces together, we went to the field yesterday. After about half a day's worth of tinkering, our 24 knife Blue Jet bar is working fantastic. The foot switch is there, but not needed, the whisker switch is hooked up, but not needed, just Swath Control working as (or better) advertised. Of course, Deere doesn't really seem to want to make it easy to hook everything up. Thanks to the guy's at Ag Express Electronics in Sulphur Springs, In., a $250 wiring harness made all things possible.
p.s. If you buy a Raven's system from Fertilizer Dealer Supply in Illinois, DO NOT let them tell you how to wire it up, tell you that you are limited to three shut off valves, or sell you their wiring harness. If you want a harness from them, I'll send you my old (new) pos. | |
