Subject: RE: Dawn Pluribus

NorthEast Iowa,
We have a 16 row Dawn/Harvest International/Montag unit that we ran for the first time this spring. We were a shank in the fall striptiller for about 10 years prior. We ran the new dawn unit over about 1600 acres this spring. Really challenging spring in NE IA with all the rain. The dawn units performed excellent and we ran about half of those acres in corn stalks. Just got done with harvest and wthout the flooded out areas we would of had the best corn crop we have ever raised. We prefer to run the striptill rig about 4 to 48 hrs ahead of the planter. We pull the rig with a TG305 (MX305) at 7.5 - 8.5mph. I would highly recommend the pluribus striptill units.
