WCIN | I had to clean my drian today. A/C condensates humidty on the evaporator and the water is suppose to go out the drain tube. Drain tube plugged===Sauna. Windows will fog in 3 minutes and full A/C will take 15 min to clear it off, will be colder than a witches hoo ha in the cab. I have had to get out to warm up a few times.
The drain on mine is directly underneath the heater core/evaporator. Can't get to it.
I take the salesman seat out and the evap cover off, blow air into the drain tube, (ouside by the tire) till water comes out. Then take a waterhose in the cab and flush the contaminates out.
Whatever it takes to clear the drain. Short term is to go behind the tire and blow air in the drain tube. That should dislodge the obstruction for a short. Good Luck. | |
