Illinois / Wisconsin | If the settings for NMEA output are being reset, there may be a few root causes.
1. The Display receiving NMEA is reconfiguring the output configuration.
2. The NAV controller is losing memory due to an internal battery failure or memory corruption.
For troubleshooting:
1. Remove the RS-232 wire transmitting from the display back to the NAV controller. This is likely going into pin 3 on the 12-pin Deutsch connector on the NAV harnessing.
2. Load default vehicle calibration profile to the NAV controller, then re-load the calibrated profile. Verify the NAV controller is compatible with the XCN/TMX Software (v13 is compatible with v4 XCN software) | |
