Subject: RE: Hypithetical Ford warranty question

Southern Ab
Nothing became of it. Fords strategy was to refute the facts and just grind me down. Several times their rep would tell me the dealer denies the facts and they always believe their dealers. The dealer suggested my wife drained the oil and at Ford that became a convenient "fact" I would then submit signed paperwork fromthe dealer to back up the claim and they would say it was not recognized for warranty purposes. The dealer would say this issue is addressed by Ford and Ford would call it a dealer issue.
The fact is the auto industry is very practised in handling warranty claims. They have the option to deny almost any claim you submit.
