all over Iowa | It sounds like an opportunity and a good market. Just be aware that the margin looks good because there are still costs that go against that gross margin. As others have already noted - accounts receivable, shrink, cost of a good storage shed, interest on your inventory, pest control, dead inventory, and your time. As with most any business, people that focus on it full time have a better chance of making it go. I have several friends in the agronomy and seed business, and I think they go on more fishing trips and winter cruises in a year than I have gone on in a lifetime - I suspect that's where the real margin is at.
