We were changing the hudraulic oil in the 6400 and found some metal pieces in the suction screen where you drain the oil. I researched it some and figured it to be the pinion bearing. Took it to a local shop, they took off the rear pto cover, and sure enough the pinion bearing was bad. Still at the shop, racking up a big bill.
