South Central Iowa | Thanks Sod! We planted about 600 acres of those beans. They are 2.1 maturity, very short for this area, and are pretty tall. 8-9 trifoliates and flowering. 10 days ago, they were actually taller than a lot of the corn around, lol. Hoping to run them just after Labor Day.
The top two are much more representative. All the Mid-May Beans and later just don't look that good. The April and 1st week of May Beans are pretty decent. The corn around here is pretty good, but still somewhat uneven. No tassels yet. | |
