If I understand correctly, your wall is supporting something on the second floor? I figured it was non-load bearing at that end of the barn.
If you put the new fans directly above the old fans with a hole in the ceiling right above the old fan, I would think they would be "competing" for the same air. Probably wouldn't gain much airflow if that is the case. But maybe I didn't understand.
Could we add 3 more fans to this barn?
