Subject: Many farmers too "______" to learn from others weed mistakes

Tip of the Thumb of Michigan

We are just starting to get some gly resistant weeds here.  Mostly Marestail.   After preaching to be ready for them for 10 years, the handful of No-till guys here waited to June to burn down their fields for edibles. The must have thought they could kill 18" tall marestail with roundup.  Really all they have done know it kill all the competition for the marestail  They have not gotten into plant because of the massive rains here in the last 9 days.   What is the problem?  Denial? Ignorance?  ??????????  That must be a reason the weeds are moving across the state so fast.
