Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | My Raven injection pump was the bare bones model that had various connections to go to the SideKick console wiring harness. Ag Leader has a harness with those same connectors. There was the power connector that literally ran the pump at various speeds, a vacuum sensor, a flow sensor, a pump speed sensor, tach feedback etc.
The injection pump had a 12V high current source at all times. The Ag Leader module determined the proper pump speed based on the target rate of the injected product, ground speed, boom widths etc. It switched the ground source to the pump ON/OFF in PWM fashion to run the motor and thus pump at the proper speed. No Raven electronics were used in this arrangement. |
