do you agree with the headline that the changes listed are not kind to the farm bill?
I think it is plenty kind. The changes listed (there may be more changes but just going by the article) I think would benefit ag. I think means testing should be done. I personally would lower the $500,000 income lower. If a farmer makes $50 per acre that is 10,000 acres. I don't think when people got together and decided to have a farm program back in the 1930's (I think it was the 1930's) the idea was to provide a safety net to someone farming 10,000 acres. | |
