It all depends. If you want Microsoft Access in addition to the more common office programs and you want to update every 3 years to keep current the leasing is likely cheaper than buying outright.
If you have 5 computers or even two computers that you want updated on a 3 year schedule or more often the leasing is cheaper there as well.
