| I had trouble with mice cleaning the bait off but not setting off the trap untill I switched to using red licorice as the bait. I tear off about 3/4" of licorice and wedge it into the bait holder, then spray with PAM cooking spray ( covers my scent). Since switching seversl years ago. I have never had a mouse t a ke the bait without getting caught, plus usually can reuse the trap without baiting several time, just rest the trap & spray more PAM on the licorice. Added plus is you get to eat the rest of the piece of licorice you didn't use for bait. | |
