It starts at the combine. A redikop mav chopper will chop straw fine and spread evenly up to 35 ft, then a pass with a lemkin Rubin or amazone catros solved my problems. You can plant into this in the spring no problems, nice and smooth and residue buried. I pull a packer behind the amazone sometimes also. I've tried every vt tool out there and none work like this amazone, I use it in corn stalks in fall and plant into it in spring also.
