Subject: RE: Compaction/Ripping

w. wi.
We have one field where we had wet spots on top of hills and there is flat ground. Probably its been ripped 4 times over the years at 14-18 in. We took the TLB. and dug a trench about 12 ft. deep the width of the bucket 100 ft. long. Then we back fill with rocks when rock picking 1/2 full. Might take a few years. Then back fill with original soil. This has worked very good and no more wet spot in 4 places. In these places we hit gray or yellow clay at 4-6 ft. Dig down through it probably less then 2 ft. thick. End of problem. This is a here thing. Good luck.
