North Central Illinois | When USDA posted acreage estimates at the end of March I felt it was possible that we would plant 2 to 3 million acres more than their estimates. That has probably changed to point where we are back to 90 to 91 million. Original intentions are in tact and not in jeopardy for a couple of weeks yet. Much too early for people to be crying yield hit already too. We may very well get there but we are not there yet. | |
