I've setup replicated side by side with what i call min down pressure and max down pressure and never seen better or worse yield till i wasn't maintaining depth. I do believe in some situations it makes a difference, wetter conditions. But yeah i just haven't seen the results that precision planting has claimed not saying it's not there. Becks had some interesting data about automatic air and hydraulic systems so i think it happens in some conditions. I plan to setup more checks this year that i can adjust from the cab easily with air, prior to that was just adjusting springs. I have agleader monitor only system basically since they came out with it i think.
