Subject: RE: Fertilizing Sandy Soils?

southern MN
My poor sand hill has a CEC of 12 and P and K are actually medium because I rarely get a crop off it. I marvel at what you folk can do with real sand.

This has to be irrigated, right? Irrigation is unheard of in my county, 90% of the ag land is either tiled or should be tiled to get rid of spring snow melt/rains and high water tables.

I was going to suggest fertilizing through the irrigation system, but if these are 4 acre bits then maybe something else is being done than I was thinking for water.

Clearly I have nothing useful to add, but I enjoy seeing what people can do, and how they do it, with dirt so different than I am used to.
