NC KS | This isn't much help but I have seen fields go from impossible to harvest to running around like they were dry in a matter of a few days. Several years ago, spent lots of money and gas on duals for the combine (early 90s). Helped combine work better for about 2 days. Soil settled out all of seemly overnight and you could run any machine on it. Not much chance of that happening quickly in the fall but a frozen ground would be a big help. | |
