Boone, Iowa | If you are careful, you can knock the pin out that holds the arm onto the switch. There is a spring below the arm, so pay attention. You should be able to blow and dirt and debris out of the switch. You could then spray some contact cleaner and then blow it out so it is dry. Reinstall arm and spring and if the switch is working properly, you should be able to hear the switch making a clicking noise when you push the arm in towards the switch housing. This is about a $25 switch, if you go to replace it. | |
