Subject: Re: burn barrel

I use curved concrete blocks set on the side on top of normal concrete building blocks. The curved blocks make a circle about 4 feet across, and setting them on other building blocks allows air in the bottom. Cables with turn buckles keep the curved blocks from falling. I used to replace a 55 gal barrel every year because it would rust so bad, even with holes drilled. The concrete burn "barrel" has been used for the past 5 years, and looks the same as the day it was built.
