East Central Arkansas | I use the Viper in my 6500 JD sprayer and I mainly use the Raven Viper 2 software. It does a good job of recording as applied maps and also allows you to keep up with your spray records in the report section. It comes with a desktop R Bin viewer that allows you to print out your reports or view them on the desktop. In some ways it's lacking in the features offered in Sitemate but it is very user friendly. I wish it allowed the use of background maps like SM. One thing it will do is display each boom section on a map that is turned on and display acres accordingly. The info is stored on a pc card that is removed and used to transfer data to the desktop. I use a cf card and a adapter card to fit the pc slot. We do have SM in the Viper but we usally usually use the viper 2 software for spraying because of the report section and the fact that it tracks indifidual boom sections. | |
