| The only problem we had was a wrecked steering sensor, the rod end unscrewed and hit the ground. Now I put a small hose clamp on the body of the sensor and use it for safety wire. This system has the load sensing valve, the description of the open center valve was enough for me to make changes in the power steering system to use the load sense valve. I added oil coolers at this time also. Raven did recall both valves (early load sense valves) because some of them leaked, but neither of ours leaked. If you keep the system, have firmware version 1.7 installed, it eliminates the need to tune the Smartrax for different speeds. It works good from slow to 20 mph. If you get rid of it, I would buy a "problem" Smartrax system if it has the load sense valve and the price is right. | |
