I agree put your $$ where the R & D for new hybrids and traits are comming from. Now that said....if you can find a company that specilizes in certian area's and give them full disclosure to your farming operation, soil types, expectations, etc. You will recive the same results. The large companies are producing hybrids that are planned to work across the entire cornbelt. The smaller ones breed for the areas they are targeting.
