South East Mn | Very new to cover crops .Yeild wise the corn this fall cover vs non cover were equal. I am at the same time switching to notilled. The fall of 15 i seeded 20 acres of cereal rye into corn stalks and notilled beans into it this spring the weed control was fantastic on those acres and the yield was 7 bushel an acre better on the monitor. I feel that on my hills every hour of the year I can have something growing it's going to be beneficial to my soil. | |
