| Can you get to any other web sites on the desktop? If so, there may be a setting in internet explorer that is blocking Agtalk. If you can't get to other sites, it could still be your network connection. I assume you are going through a router to DSL or something. Your laptop would still work since it would go through a different port than the desktop.
Also, if you cannot get to other sites on the desktop, in Internet Explorer, click File, then look towards the bottom of the menu and make sure there is no check mark next to Work Offline. If there is a check mark, uncheck it and try again.
Another thing to try is to click Tools, and Internet Options. It will open your options, look about half way down for Browsing History. There should be a Delete button and a Settings button. Click the Delete button to delete your temporary internet files (all of them), then try again. | |
