Lucan ON | 2 dollar an acre for bulk samples plus cost of sampling at the lab. I do my own zone sampling which i feel is better and easier to manage fertility. Most co-ops will charge through the roof for zone sampling. What they wanted to charge me for zone sampling i was able to buy my own desktop software and learn how to use it. I make my own zones send them the files and they then just take and send the samples to the lab and i pay 2/ac to take the sample and the lab fees. My new job will allow me to do it myself. I make my own recs as the co-op is in the business of selling fertilizer also i know the scripts are getting done when i want them to. Also gives me the flexibility to shop around for fertilizer and not tied to them for everything. Lots of opinions on how or what to put on with fertilizer so do your research. | |
