NW Washington
What are the conditions you are seeding in to, wheat stubble, corn, beans? Wet or dry? How about the opener disc, are they still sharp? Down pressure?

There are going to be times when you have heavy residue and the soil is soft that this drill is just going to hairpin some of the residue and I don't know of a good solution. Everyone and his dog has thought of or considered row cleaners, but with the row spacing of a drill you don't have any place to push the residue that won't foul up another row opener. A real dilemma. I know some folks who have had to resort to doing a little bit of surface tillage to be able to get the seed in the ground and have it germinate and grow. Seed stuck in straw or whatever usually is seed lost.
