| Went there and looked around. Looks to me like the real winner is Swoopo itself - unless you luck out and win an item cheap with just a couple of bids. This doesn't work like Ebay - you and I can't auction stuff off there. Swoopo is the ones auctioning this stuff off. They are simply an online retailer that uses a bidding process to sell their items rather than selling outright. If you win an auction, you have the opportunity to change your mind and not take the item - but I'd bet you lose the $1/bid that you spent to win it.
Could be a way to get stuff cheap - but it would take some time and practice to learn the ins and outs of when and how to bid! If this catches on, look for other tools to become available to assist you in placing bids at just the right times and conditions. | |
