The only thing I can tell you to do is open windows help and search for hardware and read all about installing hardware and then when you try to install the network device and other devices let windows search the the hard drive unless you have the cd disks for Windows and if you do use them or the drivers because windows xp should come with most of the drivers you need for a 6 year old machine.
