Star Prairie, WI | 78 Chevette here - called it the American Porsche, due to my habit of redliing it before every shift...Soon followed by a '70 GMC 1/2 ton 2wd - hugger orange - learned a lot about changing a sbc engine with that truck - put 4 or 5 junkyard motors in it. I'd still to this day pul the motor to change a clutch than drop the trans - just have that much experience! BTW - truck cost me a very worn out Suzuki RM250 dirt bike - that same truck today (in that condition) is 3,000+ | |
