Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
SF1 (and SF2) corrections are broadcast to all users (world wide) from commercial communication satellite channels that are rented by Deere. Deere uses a system of ground based reference stations (world wide) to compute the correction for both SF1 and SF2, then uplinks those to the commercial communication satellite channels that rebroadcast to all users. Deere dealers are not providing SF1 or SF2 correction service but some might be providing RTK correction service, RTK is a whole different ballgame.
