I'm in NE Iowa and have tried to find a reasonably priced source of gypsum for a long time. There is no power plant gypsum anywhere close. Last time I checked you could get power plant gypsum off a barge at the Mississippi River for around $40 per ton. There was a trucking company around Oskaloosa that had "mined" gypsum for $35 per ton plus trucking.
Farm with tight soil. What can I do?
