We land when we hear any manned aircraft, but a low flying crop duster scared the hell out of me last year when he came rolling by over some hills. Plane UAS was within VLOS, and the helicopter passed by underneath it before I could even bring it home. I'm pretty sure that's the only time I've gone over 400ft.
I got a handheld aircraft radio and ordered an ADS-B receiver only to find out 2 days later that the pilot doesn't use any of it while flying because "It's a distraction". No cell phone, no radio, etc.

We still stay out of their way, even when they're buzzing around right in the middle of our NOTAM. I don't want to be the first person to kill a pilot with a 3lb drone, and I don't want to end up in the news for the wrong reasons.
It's annoying, but I don't want to rock the boat.
