NW Washington | You may need to find a doctor that will accept the payment that Medicare allows and then let you pay the remaining 20% of the bill. Sounds like this guy wants what he billed, regardless of what Medicare allows for this service.
I too would wait till the dust settles and you get a bill the final bill from the doctors office. I am always amazed at the outrageous charges that the docs charge and what Medicare allows and pays. I have supplemental insurance and so far I have never gotten a bill after they hash things out. | |
