Lorsban was the main pesticide I used when I worked on a commercial sod farm. Yes, it has to be watered in. Not having the irrigation setup, I had to watch DTN radar for approaching rain. Worked pretty well, except it's not fun running up and down open fields in a SpraCoupe with 60 foot booms and lightning strikes at the ends of the field.
