#2 is the preferable option. Unfortunately "used car salesman attitude" prevails. The critical factor salesmen forget is Ag equipment buyers (for the most part are independant businessmen,, and don't stand for the "baffle em' with B.S." tactics very long if at all. Unlike used cars that everyone buys,, Ag equipment buyers are fewer,, and allot more astute buyers than the normal "used car buyer". 

Know a local farmer who had his wife inquire about a piece of equipment at the local "lawnmower land"... All the salesmen blew her off, wouldn't answer her questions, wasn't interested in her at all..  uh...... IGNORANT mistake on their part..  Wife went home explained what happened,, he was so P\$$ed he drove 100 miles to another dealership,, bought the equipment he was looking for and had the machine delivered to his farm. Local dealership was all "hurt" the farmer went to another Dealer and told him so.. uh... they did NOT like his response to their whinning......   LOL !!!   Local dealer lost a big sale because of IGNORANT salesmen...  LOL....
