| those I eat from Dole are not all carved from big carrots, they often ore twisted, sometimes have a bit of dirt in a wrinkle, and sometimes have a big of green top less than a quarter inch diameter far too small to be cut down from a big carrot. Sometimes they split lengthwise and the core of a carrot chunk with maybe 1/2 or 5/8" OD the core diameter is under 5/16". And they are sweeter than bigger carrots.
I don't doubt some brands are chopped and carved, but these are not turned down.
