Whats the $300/mo in supplemental insurance consist of? Term life should be $600/year for $1M coverage if healthy. Disability may be in that $300 but i've find its tough to afford disability based on farm worker rates. Can't remember the stats but something like you're 3x more likely to be disabled than dead so hard to give up disability coverage. Luckily, i have off farm employment that covers that.
