NW IA | Have been looking at this after all the discussion i have been seeing. Family of 3 here soon to be 4 but living costs for 2015 were around 60k not including a house or vehicle payments of which i have non currently. Have 2 2011 vehicles but 1 is a 3/4 diesel that if I wasn't farming probably wouldn't have. Wouldn't be hard to trim 5-10k out of our budget if we wanted to. Wife likes to shop and buy things she probably doesn't need but she does a pretty good job of not overboard spending but if push came to shove could make changes, but currently happy wife happy life. No real recreation, take 1 vacation a year that isn't real expensive do go to inlaws 4 or 5 times a year that is 6 hours away for 4-5 days at a time, wouldn't be hard to shave some money off the budget by eating at home all the time, go out to get 2 to 3 times a week seems like.
