Camrose, Alberta
Aren't the additives just to keep the pH of the coolant in check, so you can run the coolant longer between flushes? So don't you just use additives after the coolant has been used and the pH needs to be adjusted?

I have only just used the coolant filters with the "chemical" inside the filter. I always use the heavy duty coolant in our trucks and tractors, if you only have one kind of coolant on the farm you can't get the two mixed together by accident.
