You can't subtract deprestion and the total cost of the tractor. Other are right and you should add back in today's value. I get $16.73 if you use deprecation and other cost. This would say the tractor went down in value by $6000.

subtract 25000 for current value
that = 28271 for total cost of ownership if i were to sell it and get 25000
Hours in service 1600 hours
$/Hour = 17.665
