SE PA | This is a rig Brian Zimmerman and Jim Hershey built in 2015 using Dawn Biologic units. did over 1,100 acres in PA and NY state. No sidedressing this time but it is being considered by some. Dawn Biologic row units will have the capability or at least can be retrofitted to accommodate cover crop seeding and sidedressing in one pass. One of the hottest topics in cover crops right now- at least in the northern areas where there usually just isn't enough time to get cover crops planted after harvest.
