Subject: Re: Wheat harvesting

Northeast Illinois
Here in Illinois we hauled to 3 elevators this season, and were docked anytime moisture was above 13.5%. Only time we had a moisture issue was usually on the first cut loads of the late morning as moisture was always in the high 12's by early afternoon. Biggest bottleneck was/is elevator hours of operation. One closed at 4:00 p.m. closed sat.. The others were open till 5:00 closed sat. , kind of frustrating when things are going good and you have to shut the machine off cause everythings full but we managed.
