Subject: RE: JD 9600 hydraulic chatter and Outback system ?

Thanks for the ideas.

My thoughts are to put seal kits in the steering cylinders, it appears I have one that is leaking past the seal, don't know if it could be the problem but it should be done anyway. While I'm at it I'm putting bushings in the castings for the spindles and new tie rod ends. A mechanic at the JD dealership suggested that perhaps the bushings are bad and making it harder for the combine hydraulics to turn the wheels.
These items probably won't solve the problem with the Outback but there is some wear so not a bad idea to fix them either way.

Monday I'll call support at Outback and see if they have any ideas.
