The only reason there was a recall is because the oil leaks directly on the exhaust manifold. Danger not only to the car, but the garage and house if attached. It has to be safety related for a recall. If the oil.was just running down the side of the engine and on the ground, thats ok.
Story says 1300 of the previously fixed cars still.caught fire.
