The type of soil really makes a difference and if you have hills, all the more so. I could picture situations that 6+ mph and 30' that it would really load the tractor. I've got a 25' and could handle more with my 235 HP tractor. I'd check with guys in your area to see, but something in the 28-30' would be my guess.

I prefer 5-5.5 mph to level better. We are usually pulling a cultipacker as well. I'm on my second sunflower and really like them. I would definitely get the 1/4 inch blades so you don't have to worry about bending or breaking one and the extra weight is good for cutting.
