Subject: How come RTK radios don't need to be licenced?

East Central Alberta

Or do they? I always thought they didn't need to be licenced with the FCC or Industry Canada.  I have a friend who just got a call from a wireless internet provider who was unhappy with his 900-920 Mhz rtk radio "stomping" on the wireless providers signal. They haven't sorted anything out yet.

Was wondering if anyone knew the rules on spectrum licencing?

Most other wireless internet providers are running on 2.4Ghz or 5.8Ghz.
