Some years back I bought a set of headphones with a radio in them at Farm & Fleet.  I went out in the parking lot and put them on and discovered I couldn't receive a radio station that was roughly 30 miles away.
I boxed them back up and returned them.

FM might have worked but I like to listen to WMT am.
